As Salaam Alaykum,

As a new Muslima I tried to uses the phrases I found on this site in this section titled
Greetings or sayings.  oops I already forgot but it is something like that.

In there I found "Fi Amanullah" and I have been using it.  This weekend an Imam asked "why do you say that" and I told them because I read it and it said it was a saying I should use.  He referred me to:

http://www.islam-qa.com/index.php?pg=print...2291&ln=eng

He said it was not proper and to not use it.  Is this the right place for this post or is rulings better.  Insha Allah, since it had a ruling I was confused.

Have any other Sisters encounter this?  What do you think?
