Asalaamu Aleikoom,
I've never really made them (aside from putting sour cream, cheese, salt, and pepper on them) so I would like to try them some different ways. How do you guys make them?

assalamu alikeum
Do you wanna know how to actually make the jacket potato or different ways of having one?
if its how to actually make one, usually i just get a poatato, make pierce marks in it, wrap it in foil and pop it in the oven at gas mark 6 for 1hr-1hr 30 mins. Volia, lovely jacket potato
if you meant different fillings, my fav is tuna mayonaise with black pepper- all mixed up. Its nice with baked beans as well (i imagine thats more of a british thing cos we eat baked beans alot ).
Sour cream? hmm sounds interesting. What else do you mix the sour cream with?
Im looking for some other ways to eat my potato too, so i'll be interested in suggestions (besides cheese- cos i hate jacket potatoe with cheese!)

Assalaamualaikum sisters,
I make jacket potatoes the quick way just by washin them, poking them and then puttin them in the microwave for about 6 mins... but i think they taste better in the oven.
Then I sometimes have them with baked beans and cheese, or i make a tuna paste and have it with tht!

Assalaamu alaykum
I make them the Delia Smith way too, they turn out very nice indeed mashAllah!
I like the toppings you've each suggested.
Try tuna mixed with sweetcorn too.
I like it with baked beans and cheese, also with coleslaw too. You could make the beans interesting by adding some curry powder to them if you like.
