Salaam Aliekum!
My grandmother learned me to get the rice dry should Itake a towel over the saucepan opening and then put the saucepan lid on it.The towel take the damp. When the rice is finish let it stand and rest with the towel for 5 -10 minutes. Then I get the rice dry.

How much tomato sauce do you put in?Do you put water in it?When I make spanish rice I put the tomato sauce first then the sofrito, and sazon. Then I put the beans in,then the rice.I let it sit for a few minutes then I put about a cupof water then let it sit.

i was doing letting the rice sit in salt water, then boiling it in water thats half an inch above it and then adding half a small can of tomato sauce, half a pack of sazon, 2 tablespoons of sofrito. this is how my mother in law said to do it. but its just not coming right
