Assalamu alaikum...
Coffee Roast
Boneless chuck roast
pot of freshly brewed coffee
1 onion...(i prefer white onion but it can be any kind)
salt
garlic powder
Season both sides of roast with salt and garlic powder...Brown both sides of roast in a lightly greased pot on top of the stove...When both sides are nicely browned...add the onion ( quartered) and the coffee until the roast is just covered...Cook, with pot covered, until tender...approx. 2-3 hours depending on the size of the roast.
Note...if the coffee in the pot gets to low...you can add your remaining coffee from the coffee pot or water...just depends on how strong you want your roast to taste...experiment until you find the right combo.

Assalamu alaikum...
Yes i am serious...My first thought ...the first time I ate it was there is no way that this is going to be good!
Oh but it is good...you can adjust how strong it is...and of course this is made with american coffee...not arab (too scared to try).
But it really is good...

Assalamou aleikoum sisters,
sis Amani, what is ''chuck roast''???? well, sowwwyy, I am not that great with american culanary language (well, after all, they call courgette ''zuchini'' and cheak peas ''garbanzo beans''. Garbanzo beans, I tell ya'    )
Hmm, for time being, I am sticking to my nescafe..never mind the roast

Salaam Aliekum Sisters,
Sister Amani S.~~
Your caption grabbed my attention
Your content caught me by surprise
So I have to agree with the Sisters here
My expression.......is one of wide eyes
Howeverrrrrrrr I am willing to give this a try
It doesn't matter the source of the caffeine Sisters, as long as our recipes contain some!
Sister Khadi.....Your coffee invite looks lurvely, I LOVE the serving ensemble as well. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for the same. Very pretty, MashAllah.
:!: OK I must fly now and fill up my cup as my caffein levels are droppng drastically.............
Care to join?.....
