Urgent~~How do I Bake Potatos????? Aghhhhh

Asalaamu Alaykum Sisters

:oops: I feel kind of silly asking this but ...How do I bake potatos?

I assume I wrap them in tin foil then put them in then? but do i had to add anything and how long do i bake them and do i have to turn them at all and do I put them in a pan or just leave them on the oven rack :mrgreen:

please help me and my Po tay toes

Assalamu alaikum Sis. For the oven just wrap them in tin foil and bake @400 for around an hour or so. You can test with a fork. In the microwave you need to poke some holes in them and nuke on high for 5 to 10 mins...depending on size. Again, just test with a fork for doneness.

so is it ok that i put them on a cookie sheet...or should I have left them on the rack and do i have to turn them have way thru? and should I still poke holes even tho' they are in the oven?

sorry so many questions to what should be so simple lol but I just wanna get it right the 1st time!!

I just throw mine in on the rack...no cookie sheet needed. As for poking holes, a few will be good, insha'Allah. :wink:

Hey sis, I just wanted to thank you so much, I made them last night and they turned out perfect and Yummy!! Alhamdulillah

I put butter and Ranch salad dressing on them and they were just scrumptious
