Assalamu alaikum
how does one do the abaya measurements? is shoulder the length from one shoulder to the other? :? :? :oops: :oops: and do i buy the abaya that measures bigger than what i am? right?
and the length is the length of the abaya right? im sooooooooooooo confused. i want this abaya, ive asked twice the store how to do the measurements, each time they answered my other questions, but always leave that answer out, and i cant find anything for it on the website. so frustrating, i just want to buy some clothes

as-salaam aleikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
I just went and ordered 2 new abayas at an abaya shop here in UAE and the measurements they wanted were:
shoulder to shoulder--so the length from one end of my shoulder to the other
sleeve length-- from shoulder to bottom of where I want the sleeve to come down to
bust
hips
and my measurement of my shoulder down to the ground for the length of the abaya.
for my abaya I made the bust measurement about 7-8 inches bigger than my bust and then for my hips I made it about 9-10 inches bigger so it would be like an A-line abaya.
I don't know if that helps you or not... inshallah it does.
I also found this..maybe you can use this tool and they will tell you what measurements are best?
