Asalaamu Alaikum,

I am looking for this type of abaya I saw on some sisters. Its very flowy and loose. They bought them from Egypt but I have also seen them worn by Algerian women, I think.

or this:

Does anyone know what the name is and where I can buy it besides the above mentioned site?

Salaam aleikum

I have one black like that. It does not look like same material hehe, but... I am not using it, so... If you wanna do a trade? biggrin.gif Hehe.

I dont remember what they are called in Algeria though... I think they call them jillbab... When I used to be there, people talked about them as "Iranian model"...

Assalaam aleikoem

It's calles an isdal. I have 3 myself, a green, black and a dark purple one.
I love them. They are gorgeous smile.gif

You can order them on the internet.
I've bought mine in Egypt. Many women/girls wear them.

Salaam aleikum

What differs the algerian model, from the Isdaal, is that the algerian model kind of have a flap on the front... Makes it perfect for breastfeeding.

If anyone wants to see pics of what I mean, just send me a PM inshaAllah!

Walaykum Asalaam

UmMohamed; I have one in brown that is too short for me; brand new very similar to the Egyptian style; you can have it for free if you like ukhti you may need to shorten it a little again but its very nice lightweight fabric and comes with an underscarf also mashaAllaah
