Greetings Sisters,
My name is Afiya. I was involved in the Nation of Islam for several years. I fell of track with Islam, but I would now like to revert back, but to Al-Islam. How may I go about doing this?

Asalamu Alaikum,
You must say the Shahada over again. The Nation of Islam are out of the folds of Islam and are not muslim. You can do this anywhere. I would break all ties with this group (and any friends that were in this group) and find a good mosque that is Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jammah/Sunni Muslim.
Also I would advise you to start to study Islam so that you can never Insha-Allah be misguided again.

MashaAllah I happy happy to read you are finding the path to true Islam. As sister Kamillah said retake your shahadah and begin to make salah straight away. Learn as much as you can about Islam, from AUTHENTIC sources, InshaAllah.

Masha Allah sis! You are doing the right thing insha Allah and with a new shahadah and sincere tawbah (repentance) you are at the beginning of the trach to true islam insah Allah.
We are here for you and are willing to support u and answer ur conerns and questions.
**Find your local sunni mosque and start attending Jumua prayers as well as women lessons and make friendships with other muslim sisters..

As-salaam Alaikum sisters. Sister Sarah Anisah I have been having a really tough time in the last few weeks and you saying I was an inspiration was such a SWEET PICK ME UP.
Oh and the sister who was in the Nation. PLEASE DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON THE NATION. I'm sure the sisters on here can tell you I am sort of obsessed with them and improving race relations. I guess because Islam opened up such a new world for me. Before Islam I had no life.
