assalamu alaikum...

when i shave under my arms, those tiny black dots remain when i'm done (my hair is black), no matter how "close" the shave is...  the sight is not so pretty...

how can i get rid of that?

any advice, tips...

Assalamu alaikum,

The thought isnīt so pleasant, but have you tried waxing?  I can only imagine that it hurts a lot, but at least you wouldnīt see any "dots".

Fi aman Allah,

Katherine

wa alaikum assalam...

yeah, i had been trying to avoid that.

i tried, and it was disastrous - for sure only because it's the first time i used wax in that place and i didn't know how to do it well...

but my underarms were sore for the last 24 hours and i even got that kind of bruise (in one teeny place) that's like bleeding just under the skin...  my skin is very sensitive i guess...

but now, i have to wear a sleeveless dress in another 35 hours...

help!

Assalam Alekum

I think waxing works pretty well. I tried it only once   painful but had clean result.     Sis americanegyptian, just thinking of using the epilator gave me goosebumps...ouch!!  Subhallah how some people have more tolerance for pain.

LOL...

that might have to be the solution...

i met with the hair/makeup/beauty lady and she said she has a powder for it... hopefully it will work...  khair inshallah...

i am definitely getting an epilator inshallah... i saw one yesterday that has several heads - one for arms and legs, and one for underarms and one for face and one for.... other...

jazaakum allahu khayran for all of the advice...

As-salam- alaikum.

Waxing is the best answer.  Get a profesional sister to wax it for you.  You can cover yourself and just give her your underarms to wax.  I know its painful, but as you wax regularly the hair becomes thinner and the pain lessens.  I used to shave but ended up with thick black hair and ingrowing hairs.  With waxing the ingrowing hairs are removed and any dead skin, that is causiung discolouration is also removed!!

Hope this helps!!!
No pain no gain!
