Fried chicken_how should it be cooked

[b]Selemz sisters,
How do you suggest I fry chicken breats or chicken legs in cubs, boneless and skinless? Do u have a recipe for that? I could do tacos with that but dont haev the shells... I could make salds with that but dont want to becasue it is not a meal and I need a meal.
I posted earlier something about good food that is quick that I should make! Okey anyone have a quick idea that is quick and has chicken in it like 1 chicken leg boneless skinless or like a chicken breast. I need a recipe with chicken breast. Plz sisters advise me. It ahs to be fried and quick. I wanna fry chicken cubes but then how would I serve them. Perhaps thats what I was trying to say from the beginning :wink:

[i]Asalaam Alaikum Sister-

Now depending on how much chicken you are frying i have an easy peasy  recipe-
And if i can cook it anyone can-before i married i couldnt even peel and onion  :wink:


ok  :arrow: fried chicken
[i]Coat chicken in some marinade-
you can buy ready marinade from shops/
make your own-
I prefer making my own using
-

:arrow: juice of 1 lemon-
:arrow: pinch of salt & pepper,
:arrow: tsp chilli powder-
:arrow: tsp cumin powder,
:arrow: and some tomatoe puree-


:arrow: [i]mix marinade in with pieces of chicken-
its best to leave it to soak in the marinade for about 1 hour or pref overnight-


[b]COOKING

Put 2 tblsp cooking oil in a frying pan-
wait till it warms up-
add chicken pieces-
make sure heat is low-cover and it will be ready in 15 mins depends on thickness of the chicken-lil pieces wont take long at all-
make sure you turn the pieces halfway through cooking though-

[u][b]Chicken Drumsticks    



Ingredients:

:arrow:
8-10    - chicken drumsticks
2   tablespoons lemon juice
1 12   teaspoons salt
12   cup corn flakes, finely chopped
2   tablespoons Sesame seeds
12   cup bread crumbs, plain dried
12   teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
1   teaspoon garlic powder
1   teaspoon red chili powder
1   large egg, lightly beaten
4   tablespoons milk
3   tablespoons butter, melted


[b] Cook:

[b]1. Put the drumsticks in a large bowl, add lemon juice and one teaspoon of salt and rub it all over the drumsticks. Cover and marinate for at least 3 to 4 hours.
2. Beat the egg and milk in a bowl. Combine the bread crumbs, corn flakes, sesame seeds, pepper, chili powder, garlic powder and remaining salt in a plastic bag.
3. Dip the drumsticks in the egg mixture, then shake in the bag to coat.
4. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Grease a baking sheet.
5. Arrange the coated drumsticks on a greased baking sheet and drizzle with the melted butter.
6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
7. Serve immediately.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes.
Cooking Time: 30 minutes.

I will do the first one inchalah even though I dont have all the ingredients...I will see what I can do! Also there is something very important I'd like to say. After you cook your marinade? How do u serve it? With bread?

Salam aleikum,


sis Beautysmile here is another recipe with chicken fillet (this is my own secret one  :wink:)

Chicken in Creamy Tomato Sauce

1/2 kg chicken fillet, chopped into small pieces
1 large onion thinly sliced
2-3 garlic cloves crushed
4 medium tomatoes peeled and chopped
4 oz tomato paste
0.5 C water
1 can mushrooms (or equival amount of fresh mushrooms)
4 oz fresh cream
salt and pepper to taste.

1. Fry the onions a few minutes on low heat and then add the chicken and fry a few more minutes. Add the garlic and stir. Add salt and pepper to taste.
2. Add the tomatoes, the tomato paste, water and the mushrooms and let the dish simmer for approx. 15
3. Add the cream and let the dish cook for another couple of minutes.

Et voila you have a tasty chicken dish. Serve it with boiled rice and a mixed salad.

assalamalaikum,
A simple recepie for chicken breasts is :"CHicken  Mongolian'
Ingredients:
chicken ,1 big onion (chopped or grinded 2 paste)salt,black pepper(according to taste)chopped green chillies-(4-5 No.s)white  vinegar(2 tsp),cornflour powder(2 tsp)

Mix all ingredients to the  chicken and marinate for abt 1/2 hr

heat oil in  a pan  ,deep fry each piece and keep aside.
drain out the excess oil from the pan,Add the chicken pieces and sprinkle 1/4  cup of water(chicken stock if available) to the chicken pieces and mix well.
garnish with coriander leaves.
The  chicken is ready
Serve hot.

well 2day I am cooking homeade humberegers as it is very quick and I haev lots to do!
:arrow: Clean the house and do the dishes, and mop the floor, the washrooms ect.
:arrow: Cook
:arrow: Teach my sister arabic
:arrow: Study for my NEXT exam
:arrow: Read some Quarn if possible and some sirrra nabawiya
:arrow:  If I am done all this, I will haev ME time but I also have to go visit my mom :wink:

[i]the marinade question i didnt understand though  :? the marinade gets mixed with the chicken to flavour it :!: you can eat with anything-
