Salaam aleikoum,
welcome to the Art and Expression thread. Feel free to express yourself here with your mouse, needles, brushes and the like. This week's subject is Patience. If you like you can draw, paint or do anything that has to do with this week's subject. I do feel a little guilty that I haven't really found something yet to share, but I will keep looking insha' Allah. Can't wait to see what you made or found. BTW please no picture's etc. of animals & humans.
Lots of love,
Samira

Assalamu Alaikum,
InshaAllah I can get a picture, but my thing for patience is...
....unpicking the thumb of fingerless gloves and reknitting it. It's too small! My thumb won't fit comfortably. So it's patience for me to unpick it and reknit it. I couldn't face doing it on Sunday night, so I started the 2nd glove!

As salamu alaikum wa rahmatullah sisters
OK I know for sure I'm not the best artist here but I've embarrassed myself by putting up an 'art piece' of mine (would you even call it art.. haha ) just to encourage you to do the same!
Please sisters, what does SABR (Patience) mean to you???? It's so easy to make something in "Paint" that can express your true emotions.

Asalaamu alaykum
I'm not much of an artist or a poet...but patience to me means when in the moment that you have the power/ability to do as you please but you hold back in the peak moment of anger/frustrations/impatience you take a deep breath and do the opposite
I think the best form of patience is to keep silent
