I found out that the food we eat is genetically modified and is maybe not halal. For exmaple tomatoes sometimes haev porc genes in them so that they survive the cold for exemple. What is the ruling on eating such tomatoes? Since wherever we go and whatever we buy is made with porc somehow...what can we do? We cannot just plant our vegetables in our backyard and buy the meat from halal places...or can we? but then it would be too expensive...
