Assalamu Alaikum
MashaAllah I am happy to read that you are beginning to wear hijab, may Allah make it easy for you. Ameen.
I have no idea about the dimensions but InshaAllah one of our other sisters can help you with that. You may find this thread interesting it has a few links about "Hijab tying" and also a step by step diagram on how to wear the shayla.

As with everything.... practise makes perfect!! It used to take me hours getting ready to go out, I would have to pin, repin and repin again my hijab about 20 times before it felt secure  , but Alhamdilullah now for everyday wear it only takes a few seconds
Take care.

Assalam alaykum sister
For a square hijab 44" by 44" is good. The khimar (AKA hijab) needs to cover your chest area.
For a shayla just make sure the width is about 27" or more. Less than this does not cover properly and often sisters' necks can be seen.
Also, make sure they are not too sheer. If you order one in chiffon or georgette you might want to get a darker colour to ensure proper coverage.
May allah continue to increase you iman with this step to his obedience.Masha'allah. We are proud of you
I hope this helps and is not too complicated.

Assalamu'alaykum
I'm happy to hear that you want to begin wearing the hijab, may Allah subhanahuwa ta'ala make it easy for you, ameen.
I also don't know the measurements but when you try it on you'll see if it is ok and if it feels comfortable.
